I entitled this book Abstinence Kills because I believe that how we are approaching the treatment of opioid addiction is contributing to fatal overdoses. My main focus is not on selling a book but on getting my message out. 

This website is intended to supplement the book because not everyone reads books. To reach more people, I decided to put my message out in forms available to anyone with a smartphone. 

The information on this website is free, never behind a pay-wall. I seek to make information available in different formats that would be digestible to more people. I have a section of this website dedicated to Videos where visitors to my website can access my videos on TikTok, instagram, and other social media. I intend to put up written content in the form of blogs that cover key points. These are intended to be quick-reads that can be read on a smartphone in less than 3 to 5 minutes. 

Unfortunately, I can only convey a limited amount of information in a short video or blog. If you find it difficult to accept some things I say, it may be because part of the information you need is covered in a different video, or not explained in my book.

Short-forms of messaging such as videos cannot provide any in-depth information. That’s why there is no substitute for the full book, which presents my ideas in their entirety.
